Whether you possess superior culinary skill or you happen to be one of those people who should never step foot in the kitchen, we hope that you will find this part of our website useful and resourceful...our intention is to provide you, our customer (or just curious browser), with a plethora of in-season recipes that will benefit your CSA experience and help to enrich your knowledge and expertise with vegetables. We believe enabling one to become familiar with seasonal vegetables is an inherent responsisbility of the CSA.  This page is designed to help make cooking, eating, and enjoying the fruits of our Maryland region part of your education as a customer.

Many of the recipes used on this site are extracted from other recipe books and are dutifully noted. Some of these recipes come from our very own customers and supporters (past and present) and are also marked accordingly. While many of the recipes are largely vegetarian, you will find several that include meat.  Please enjoy yourself looking around and please let us know if you have a recipe you would like to be included! You can e-mail that information to: info@redwiggler.org

The following recipes are listed by season. For instance, you will find "greens" recipes under both spring and fall headings because these are typically seasons that you will receive kale, collards, turnips, lettuces, spicy greens, etc...
